Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 remains one of his most triumphant celebrations of freedom.  Bruckner’s popular Fourth Symphony was hailed as his greatest triumph and an “extraordinary musical creation,” and captures the chivalry of knights and a fairy-tale world with sweeping sounds of grandeur.
